       @p I was talking to a Delta Air Lines captain yesterday about getting hired at Delta and he recommended going through an agency that knows the respective company's HR system since it's widely computerized these days and you have to "score" a certain amount of "points" that they're looking for in order to get flagged for interview. It's not necessarily based on background or experience or expertise, and you're not being reviewed by other pilots. You're being "scored" by an algorithm. @icedquinn

       @p And a real easy solution would simply be to ban H1B visas outright. Or, any visas of that sort. If you can't find domestic labor that can do a job then invest in teaching/training domestic labor. @sickburnbro
