@jwildeboer great stunt pulled there. We have a Berkey carbon filter jug/tank which is great but alas doesn't convert our well water into Evian/Duisburg rival mineral water. How drinkable your tap water is is hugely variable...

@_1751015 it's one of those temporary workarounds that just reached ver1.0! Better than over-overheating at least..

First metal detector sweep of the local beech, not too bad, first 2 finds: a 25 peseta coin, then a 1€ coin, good start (for a 6yo and their new detector!)

@luka @pawlowa @gid I did a few moments research (just search: "Beethoven black") the other day when this one cropped up elsewhere and the evidence to support this theory is at best sketchy so it's well worth fact checking such posts before sharing as factual information.

@jwildeboer that's tough! My records are in boxes spread around a few places as I couldn't take them with me when I left the UK. Really don't know what will become of them...

@TheFuzzStone seem we on same path (although my old desktop hasn't actually died like I thought, just bios conf corrupted) however the temptation of a new Ryzen laptop and bargain price of the Tongfang is still intriguing... Started when Lenovo started shipping some Ryzen E14/5 models, but the Ryzen models were gone in a flash!Still researching and not sure can really afford it but...

@disroot that sucks but we'll done for sorting it, really shows the power they have to decide what people can and can't access and this has to change!

@disroot RBL maintainers are internet fascists as are those who use their lists to decide who gets to host services without being restricted or not. Being blacklisted by dominant service providers without any real appeal is basically abuse and should be reportable/actionable. Maybe EFF can advise?

@Shamar @jartigag So are you looking to find out if a certain server appearing to be on a certain IP address is actually where the #whois lookup says it is? A server could be using a proxy so may well not be where you think it is. I'm not sure how much info you can get by analysing the data using nmap/wireshark etc...CloudFlare are good at this though!

@Shamar @jartigag interesting question, generally you can just look up the IP address via whois lookup which will identify the block range and owner and where they are registered, usually to city & country level. Now, how those IP addresses are then applied, and more importantly where they may be deployed is another matter and probably difficult to find out, although I expect they will generally be where the whois lookup says. IP address duplication should not be possible however.

@mathias started as nested folders and still grouped but over time there is a lot of bloat with accounts used only once, categories no longer relevant, increasingly I just search if can't recall entries location. Needs review tbh
