Are folks giving up on Mastodon already? In the last few weeks, I’ve noticed engagement on the bird site has been consistently better than on Mastodon, which wasn’t the case a couple months ago.

My wife just showed me a video of a bunch of teachers dressed up like their students for Halloween. She didn’t tell me what it was first, and I completely didn’t get it. Pretty sure it’s because I work in a field where we all still dress like middle schoolers. 🤣🤣🤣

@Sempf @mttaggart I don't think I'd say it's dumb in and of itself, but most projects and use cases today are stupid. Same for NFTs. I think as things mature, they will change the world, but that's still a way off.
