@jeremy /opt/pleroma/bin/pleroma_ctl stop didn't work for me either but /opt/pleroma/bin/pleroma stop was working fine.However i had few other problems after which i could't resolve within my knowledge even with some guides by @elwood so at the end he finished it for me. I don''t know really what was causing other problems

@alex Today i find out having problem with #Pleroma / #Soapbox to find or follow #Pixelfed accounts. In search i can find "some" accounts to follow, but most of them just doesn't show up even by searching direct profile link... Do you know something about this?

In addition to this, #pleroma can be used for #microblogging or #macroblogging, it depends on instance settings. Perhaps my #instance https://microblog.club enabled posts up to 5000 characters which can be used for macroblogging

@alex Curious why this setting is not working with Soapbox: Pleroma > Admin > Frontend > Redirect root no login. I set it to /timeline/local so visitors could see local timeline instead of mainly epty fron page, but it doesn't work

extending theme editor would be great i guess, it would also self-invite more creative designers to offer their twist which could be interesting and probably push Soapbox on new level of popularity
