Please, recommend accounts (🇪🇸 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 ) that are in the following interests:- Technology (programming, etc)- Music (production, dj, etc)- Gaming (game development, indie games, etc)I find it quite hard to develop a circle of connections in Mastodon. However, still looks promising.

@killyourfm I am a computer science researcher and developer, but I also mix music and even produce (all in Linux).At my company we even contribute to open source projects :)

@killyourfm I tried Ardour at the time but unluckily didn't meet my needs, so for the moment I am using Bitwig Studio (not open source). I hope there will be an alternative ableton-like software in the future!

@killyourfm Yes, while I find it quite expensive, for me it's worth it as the time playing with parameters in Bitwig is really reduced by its confortable interface.When I work in music/art I want to keep apart my computer science side and just focus on creating, so that is really helpful.It also is really well maintained for the moment. Big updates each 2-3 months.

I am really liking this social network. However, I can understand why it can be difficult to get into. I did find it quite difficult even while I am still tech-savvy and a computer science myself.I cannot see the regular elon-verse grasp the minimal knowledge about how this social network works. I see a lot of people giving the analogy of "it works just like e-mail, you have servers, etc".In this era, there are people that think that Gmail(or hotmail) is the only provider of e-mail of the whole world. I already herd "let me gmail this to you".It shouldn't be a bad thing that mastodon has mastodon.social and that beginners think that instance is the main one. People will at least start using it and learn the true values of Mastodon in the way.#mastodon #twitter #social #media

@freemo I guess that it's only some few people barking making the noise 🤷♂️ It's actually sad that this kind of practices make the decentralized nature of Mastodon a more centralized experience based on cancelling other servers?I hope it won't be needed to move to another instance, because for the moment I have been having the best discussions right here.
