       @martijnbraam I'm convinced that there are a lot of bot experiments on HN. The predictability of the comments on various topics (apple, tesla, etc.) from the usernames is so high that these are either automated responses or the posters have no short-term memory and don't remember posting this exact easily-refuted argument every time anyone dares to question the 30% app store tax, for e.g.

       @fsf it's always a trap - they bring you in with the manufactured conveniences, slam the doors shut, and then begin milking you like a factory-farm cow; no one can hear you scream over the hum of the revenue extractor. @pluralistic  was right about enshittification but it doesn't just apply to 'free' stuff - even when you pay you're still the product.
