       Hi everyone 👋 This is my #introduction so I'm not a mystery😉 I live on a small farm in Northland with my father. We've been here for 22 years, living semi-self-sufficient but don't get out much.Our family includes lovely nubian goats, a mix of sheep including dairy breeds, a few emu, cats  and poultry.My other interests include reading, gardening, computer coding, health and medicine, space, and biological science.We'll just have to see what I end up tooting about!

       @zorinlynx@mastodon.social @jon@social.lot23.com Interestingly, I had the opposite experience.I changed to 'latest tweets' at some point, and after a while I noticed I hadn't heard from people. If I checked their profiles, they were still posting, but I had just missed them by not being online at the time.When I turned the algorithm back on, I suddenly got their tweets showing up again, raised to my attention even if they were made 4-5 hours before.Now I use the algo for the first morning visit and change to timeline after
