The CommonPET - a SuperPET clonehttps://github.com/InsaneDruid/CommonPETWith the help of the schematics and 2 high resolution board images I was able to clone the complete #SuperPet in the single board version. So if you always wanted to convert your CBM 8032 into a Superpet and don't want to use the ingenious (and cheaper) uMMF, now is your chance. #MicroMainframe #Retrocomputing #reverseengineering #jlcpcb

Again special thanks to all the crazy members of forum.classic-computing.de, who provided pictures, advice and last but not least parts and financial (and time!) efforts to build the prototype and sniffed a lot of solder fumes while doing so. :)

I've been thinking about a switchmode replacement for TO-3 regulators that actually looks like a TO-3 part. I designed something based on the recommended circuit for a TPS56339 synchronous buck converter and that seems to do the trick. Will see how it behaves once built.#retrocomputing #kicad

@foone If for that they start building new CRTs, then count me in.

@foone Prusa does this for ages now, instead of limit switches it uses the current sensing it already has for collision detection instead of limit switches.Works a charm and is super preciseSo its not WOZ/Commodore style head banging, but very close to.
