@polarisera @tangleofsnakes In the zoo of my town, in the orangutang enclosure, there used to be an old cat who would just sleep and ignore all the people who were petting her. She's no longer there and sadly no other cat took her place.On my way to work I meet an orange cat, who just sleeps in the sun on the sidewalk and totally doesn't mind that people keep on petting him.So yeah, there are cats who don't mind. But they're rare.

@HebrideanHecate @Sherri_Ingrey @Flick @carolen I was watching "Jonny English" in the weekend, and the French baddie in it had this marvellous idea: turn whole Great Britain into a prison and import criminals from all over the world into it!It's a comedy and the idea is ridiculous, but seeing these reports about violent immigrant criminals being let free into the open makes me think, maybe it wasn't a joke.

@fpcgc Scandinavia is very family friendly. Eastern Europe is very peaceful.Holland is an absolute no, due to prostitution. Paris is smelly and disgusting, but if you're renting a car and staying inside places rather than taking a walk in the city center, maybe it's fine (I'm guessing people who are wild with Paris are doing it this way).I love Berlin and Germany in general, but again - prostitution. It seems however it's not as likely to accidentaly to stumble into rape zones like it is in Amsterdam.London is fine, but depends on the age of your children. I was quite shocked how unfriendly towards kids they are, coming from Scandinavia.Italy and southern France are 👌. But it gets very hot during the summer, and I haven't been there since all that refugee crisis began. It might have changed.
