@darulharb Yes, this article depicts the general atmosphere here in Israel in general.Disbelief on how this could have been allowed to happen so unnoticed, without immediate forces to stop it right after the start; Anger on failed leadership; A big effort of civilian mutual help (we're used to that); And a need to react decisively, and quickly enough before the world's support dissipates as usual, just like the article says.We'll see how this develops. Hard to definitely predict right now.

The main one is called Abu Ali Express (he has an English version too, with a similar name and the language indication), of whom I learned after a video that was shared here by @StevenDouglas. @SusanInVA Good description of the history in general, thank you.But there are a few comments. The Romans DID exile large portions of the population. While it is true that some remained, and there has always been Jewish presence in our homeland, when one writes "they stayed" etc., one ignores the majority of Jews, who had to do that in exile for centuries.Also, it was the Romans who coined the term Palestine, way before 1475, after the Phillistines, the biblical arch-enemy of Israel.

@redwhitebluedude Yep, many here know for years that UNRWA is nothing but a social and "educational" wing of Hamas with an international, nice sounding name for covering their real nature.@ThomasWic wrote about it in his blog in 2014, if not before. I think I saw @Debradelai talk about it too. And many others.Since 2006, where Hizballa bribed the UN forces to look the other way as they attacked us (which led to the 2nd Lebanon war), many here view the UN as "Unwanted Nobodies".@EliMGold

@Debradelai Great! Dr. Mordechai Kedar is one of the most knowledgeable people about so many things here. He's a religious Israeli Jew (of Ashkenazi descent, mind you!), but knows the Arab and Islamic writings no less than any Arab or Islamic scholar. I follow him both on Facebook and on Telegram, and he does an amazing job of representing Israel and fighting the bigoted and ignorant views and accusations of an "apartheid state carrying out a Genocide and tortures and bullies innocent Palestinians for fun and without any reason", while facing a lot of adversity and hate.I shared some of his posts and videos with @wziminer, @barrsniffsatjejuneanalysis, and others in our joint channel.

@EarlThePearls I remember Iquitos from the map of Peru when I went to visit that country in 2004. It looked like a unique experience to see it, but the route I was taking, due to other places I wanted to visit (also in Bolivia) and the time limitations left me no choice but to skip it.I did visit the jungles around Rurrenabaque in Bolivia. OK, so I have the kids for the weekend, and my GF's coming as well. She likes the meat dish, as does my older kid. Both kids also asked for for Asian-style fried chicken with vegetables and noodles. @Ballerina I find it hilarious that they put "Kosher salt" in the ingredient list of a dish involving chicken and cream together, which can never be kosher 😂🤣😂🤣Thank you and @Joycevor for the recipes!
