       Unpopular opinion but I don't give a single shit about the #GeorgeSantos thing. Most people embelish things on their resume, he just did so to a ridiculous degree.        @elliswyatt @stux The sickness is paranoid people like yourself who think you need to carry a gun to avoid being kidnapped when defensive gun uses are extremely uncommon. The right has people so fearful that the market gets flooded w/ people buying guns for "protection" making it easier for criminals and mass shooters to get them because the supply is so out of control that we can't keep track. Don't even get me started on accidental shootings and irresponsible gun owners.

       If #Threads can establish itself as stable and simple to use/set up, I can see it outgrowing Twitter by the end of the year, maybe sooner. Not an endorsement, #Meta is a data scraping #monopoly that needs to be reined in and broken up.

       @skotchygut @shoq it's so dumb and the "Mastodon's so complicated" shit annoys me to no end. Every new platform is complicated in the beginning, do these people remember how complicated Facebook used to be when they first started letting everyone join. People are just lazy and seem to always choose what's easy over what's right.
