@CliffWade I use Facebook mostly to be touch with people I know in real life and for local activism. Mostly family photos and life events. I have a private group for each of my 4 grandchildren chronicling their lives since they were born. And I have a private United Against Hate group for local antiracism info and activism.

@CliffWade My oldest is 10 and youngest about to be 1 so there's a lot of history, stories and love in those groups! Family and close friends only. It's the main reason why I haven't left FB.

@lowqualityfacts I'm 66. It took a LOT more attention and learning to master the home computer in 1988. Mastodon is not "hard." It just takes attention and intention. Algorithms have made people lazy about creating their own social media community and experience.
