@Dagny What's really predictable is that no matter what the Dems do, there'd be a critical article or a host of them.If they'd supported the other candidate, who's no picnic either, or none, there'd be a pile of critical articles telling us why that particular move was bad. It just never ends.

Somebody had the idea to make this ad. They bounced the idea off of somebody else, and that person liked it, so they fleshed it out a bit. Then they presented it to the campaign, and the campaign liked it and brought it to DeSantis. DeSantis said OK, they hired the crews, they shot the footage, they edited it, Ron DeSantis Approved This Message, and they bought time slots and ran it.All those opportunities, and nobody said "wait, no, this is colossally stupid." #Pennsylvania voters:The US Supreme Court today vacated a decision made by the US 3rd Circuit Court that had required mail-in ballots lacking a date on the security envelope but otherwise received on time to be counted. This doesn't mean they definitely won't be counted, but it does mean that we can't assume that they will be counted.
