@oatmeal @israel @palestinian unfortunately it is forbidden to criticize a state that puts citizens ins ghettos, applies kin liability to them, and disowns them, based on ethnicity and religion. Ditching the separation of power so that the „leadership“ can no longer be held accountable also sounds familiar. That totally unnamed state definitely has learned from the past.

@oatmeal @israel @palestinian I am a strong fan of a state being subject to its own laws. One might even go so far and say that this is one of the pillars of democracy. Even a factually non-functioning Supreme Court that *could, if it wanted to* is way, way ahead of a Supreme Court that is not. „Laws are for other people“ … that lead to the French Revolution

@oatmeal why do you want to leave roam? I get increasingly happy with it for organizing work related projects and agenda

@oatmeal you said you could not open it. Not in org, or not at all? I regularly use org-lint on my files. Not sure if it could help you with not being able to open the file at all though

@galdor yes!- standup desk- trackball instead of mouse- ortholinear keyboard with ergonomic layout (in my case Colemak-dh)- going for a walk for at least 30 minutes/day will work wonders on creativity, concentration, and back painThe best investments I ever made

@galdor @veer66 I really like that e.g iptools2 has a JSON option. jq is so much better than grep

@rms Netanyahu has maneuvered himself into a situation where „peace“ likely will mean prison and/or loss of personal riches. Escalation is his only option. Or to turn into a decent man, but we all know how well that works

@foone others said it before: you seem to be highly qualified and manny countries with a more, let’s call it „humane“, health system would likely take you at once. I understand that this is a big step and cannot possibly give any advice on of that would even be possible for you. I can think of thousands of reasons not to leave the place where my loved ones live.
