       And what's even more insidious is this always needs there to be an 'enemy' to distract the masses from their own quality of life getting worse, so they won't even think about what's actually going on, let alone organise to end it.Whether it's refugees or non-white people or 'the woke' or 'the Left' or trans or LGBTQ+ people, existing.The only way forward will be to overthrow these enforced systems that oppress us and uphold these hierarchies.But most prefer playing their crafted 'games'.

       And that's before talking about underfunding healthcare systems, and allowing Covid to run rampant for 'the economy', despite the costs to your health in the short, medium and long-term, many of which we won't know right now, and those in power hope will be revealed long after they're off the scene.Whilst increasing funding to police and military, as well as the state giving itself and the cops more repressive powers, to keep us all under control as everything I mentioned collapses./end

       Watching a video of a YouTuber I'm subbed to playing the current expedition in #NoMansSky, it looked awesome, especially the starter ship. I haven't played much for a while, and nothing out of my chill 100+ hour save.I thought I missed it, but for some reason they added a week to it.But one thing it's reminded me I hate is warping into a space battle. With an under-resourced ship (and bad gamer) I'm either wasting ten minutes, or more likely dying, when I just wanted to warp further. #xbox

       It's interesting how forcibly displacing 1.1 million people, under threat of state violence in 24 hours to create a 'buffer zone', is now accepted as a 'defensive measure'.And even if this is 'achieved' by them, what's to stop #Israel then doing the same to the remaining sliver of #Gaza under the same 'premise'?And I'm guessing people and governments who are now whole-heartedly supporting this, will also now be supporting #Russia doing the same to eastern #Ukraine as a 'buffer against NATO'?

       @kravietz I'll take the non-invasion part, but it doesn't take into account that Russia's supposed reasons for invading in the first place were 'protecting Russian speakers', 'stopping NATO encroaching on their borders - as they said they wouldn't', and then 'removing Nazis'.I don't believe any of those, but it's no less of an ideological decision than Hamas have done this week.

       So I'm reading now more and more Western governments and media are buying and then parroting back the Israeli lines on the Gaza hospital attack, for no 'evidence' other than 'Israel said so, so it must be true'.And that's because the West will always support each other, no matter what they do. Because they all like having a clean 'good' vs 'bad' narrative.The West is 'good', so anyone outside is automatically 'bad'.#Israel #Gaza #war
