Every now and again I think- was she a pawn in the battle to turn women against each other? Because we know the misogynists are out in force for her too and we know how shitty and dangerous that is...And then... and then... I remember every single thing she did to deny women the right to speak up about our own biology, playing with the fire of science denial for political gain and centring cock above women’s safety and god damn dignity and I think about every one of my female friends who has tried to silence me with a ‘be kind’ and I know justice has been served. @Norma_Moore @LadySparklePop

Me too! All of my friends are arts and media and I was predominantly in theatre circles but have had to start to change my career because I realised that none of them were prepared to see why this is important to me. They either want to not think about it, while maintaining I should think or comment about it either, or uphold the status quo and be unthinkingly ‘the good guy’. I have had to reevaluate what the influences in my life have been in these creative circles; I think freedom of expression and ideas (and that means to disagree with the accepted truth) is what the arts should be for. It’s been isolating, interesting and sometimes terrifying. @Fraggledaddy

So what about the really revealing article in the Daily Mal the other day about the academic Richard Hoskins and how he was fast tracked into transition by the NHS? That's a really important article and I know that many people won't read it purely because it's Daily Mail. If we're not sharing these points of views from the sources that will write about them are we not just pandering to the bubble think that got so many people so entrenched in this ideology in the first place? Do you mean the Union? I’m a member of Equity the actors union and they’ve issued guidelines that companies must protect trans members and offer them taxis home... I have been a member for 20 years and never have the guidelines said to get women a taxi home. It’s the theatre everyone’s finishing late. The institutional capture across the board is mental. Unions the press everyone needs to get a grip. @AnneBevan
