@calculsoberic @stux huh well, that seems kinda logical to happen soone tor later.one hope is that buying/selling a gGmbh is tricky, so that would hinder a buyout of the brand and trademark (unless the buyer wants to pay past years of taxes or has a company that is not allowed to make a profit) - still it wouldve been nicer to have a company model that makes selling the brand impossible (there's some property associations in Germany that have that model)

@calculsoberic @predicterOfShroomsLight while true, no-tech users tend to gravitate towards the "official" stuff anyway.The hours I spent convincing family members to get away from WhatsApp alone is astonishing.

@calculsoberic @stux technically there's nothing hindering the rest of the fediverse (or even rochko, if he wants to stay True to his intent) to actually form such an organization.legal hassle, yes, because people with instances would have to legally become part of the association, but the end result would be an unsellable trademark (because it belongs to everyone) while everyone keeps control of their instances.unless big tech comes and buys out all of the instance owners

@vosje62 @cybette @si2mev @DerkvanLYeah, if you can figure out the flight, you might have some luck telling the provider to contact the passenger about this. They likely won't give out contact details to you stranger, but they definitely have them, which might hook you up.

Didnt play SF, and not gonna vouch for its quality butYou should know better than to believe you could "finish" any creative engineering product at scale within a few weeks let alone completely on your own.If you could, you should be swimming in products and profit.Even if you offload assets to AI Its not like they spent those years just coding to a known target.

Is there a name for postponing something small (but growing) for another small thing time and time again until the initial thing is so large it's do or die, potentially weighting against another big thing (that always would have been big)?I'm sure there is, just can't think of it. Like, we all probably know this from project management, but I encounter this often in my private life as well. (esp with kids and parenting)

@pseudoriemann but it's not procrastination, as in that moment, the "other" things seemed high prio + low effort enough to outweigh the subject. If the order would be reversed, there would be no issue.it's like.. worst-case sorting.
