@Aviva_Gary @jeffowski Yeah, but Lex at least had to deal with Superman to counter him. We don't have anything to stop the CIA, since even the party I vote for in elections is too gutless to do anything about it. It's quite dispiriting when I think about it. I just hope one day there will be justice.

@BrodieOnLinux It's almost like Systemd is working with the GNOME project and Apple to see who can screw with their users and hate them more. In between the security breakdowns, killing sudo, giving us BSOD, and now this, Systemd is doing a bang-up job over the past several months. Congratulations on your contempt for us. @Radical_EgoCom Seeing how I’m a pinko, we’d probably just end up debating which variant of Communism we should have, instead. I’m not sure how fruitful that would be. Most people on the left still don’t care, & the ones who say they do have never read Marx & remain unsure what a socialist is outside of a few platitudes about equality. Honestly, we need to do a better job of educating people than anything else.

@ErikUden This is why every progressive still on X needs to be gone and preferably over here (or at the least not there). The man has ad-subsidized, sponsored, & enabled open racists & bigots, which means when you get clicks you are supporting this (even if indirectly). That’s why I left & came here over a year ago. The people posting responses might as well have been from 2017 Charlottesville. I would love nothing more than to see that site dynamited at this point as punishment.

@rodhilton I don’t assume they will regret it. I don’t think most of them care. They only want what they want, & if it comes at our expense all the better. We need to stop telling ourselves these voters are somehow just regular folk who’ve been tricked. This is an open enough society, most of them know exactly what they’re doing when they say things like ‘lock her up,’ ‘all lives matter,’ & ‘kick out illegals.’ I take them at their words. They’re effectly & actively evil in their sentiments.

I’m going to blame the people who voted for Trump because they’re the ones chiefly responsible if he wins. And while I’m voting for Harris, not happily, since the Democrats remain imperialists who look at Palestinians as subhumans, I cannot be mad or upset or police people on my side who refuse to do so. That’s on us for nominating imperialists.
