Twice a year Lifeline charity has a massive book sale called Bookfest. Hundreds of thousands, if not over a million, of 2nd hand books are on rows of tables. There’s a PA announcer in a safari suit providing info, announcing lost kids (or spouses), the process of paying, where the monies raised are used, etc. volunteers operate the checkouts and help re-organise and redisplay the books. I keep looking for books I had as a kid..I’ll find them again eventually.

My significant other and I are planning an October trip starting in Adelaide and driving to Melbourne - maybe into ACT or Sydney before flying home to Brisbane.
