When I came here to Mastodon, I met some wonderful people that I just really like knowing.Some have not stayed. They are missed in this community. One who did not stay still had a way to reach me and I woke to find a message to me, in a moment that I needed a reminder that people do like me and think about me.After I replied to him, I remembered this chalk drawing on a pathway in the park during 2020.I am right where I need to be. There is something in this moment that I need so that life can be better. So, as uncomfortable and sad as I have been feeling the last few weeks, I will come out the other side a better and stronger me.I would like that to be like next week if I can define my timeline, please.💜

If you've ever been on the phone with me, you know my dogs get all over me while giving someone else attention. When I work from home, I shut my office door before getting on a call to prevent that.I just turned around to shut my office door for a call in a few and see my border heeler mix has put my chihuahua's bed and his 50 pound body in the doorway. So smart, but sorry, buddy.

As I head to get in jammies and cuddle up in bed to watch TV like a zombie, I would like to say a few things on my mind:- It takes a village. We are only as strong as our weakest supporter. (Thanks to those who support me💜)- Don't let anyone take your dignity or pride. Know your core, your center (the special part of you). Embrace it. The people right for you will embrace it, too. Others will fall out.- I would walk five hundred milesAnd I would walk five hundred more... (thanks Starbucks?)- I have more thoughts but they would require coffee to actually fully form.G'night💜
