Oh, right right, I haven't posted here about playing the Quake episode "Dimension of the Machine" yet. It's the last of the officially licensed ones, and I have to say it's my favorite currently, tied with "Scourge of Armagon". The level design in these is absolutely *incredible,* feeling like Souls games in some points, but with the mish-mash of dark themes that only really Quake can provide. It's incredible. Finished playing Dusk! What a fantastic game! That was extremely fun. Loved how the atmosphere turned creepier and weirder as the game went on, to go full mind-bendingly eldritch at the end, with good doses of intense combat. I will DEFINITELY make at least one map for Dusk after I learn how to map for Quake.So, what should I play next? Ultrakill, more Quake, Amid Evil, Blood or Half-Life?#BoomerShooters #Dusk #Quake

Decided enough was enough. After a few days of running Vencord on my Linux machine, installed it on my Windows machine too. Now hopefully the chat app that does way too many things can STOP FUCKING SPYING ON ME AND EVERYTHING THAT I TYPE. Maybe, please?I know I can trust Vencord and Vesktop because the mascot is a cute furry anime girl and the app logo has a rainbow background. I know I can trust the people who would choose to put that there, lol.

So, between me going to bed last night and this morning, Sony back tracked the decision to force PSN onto Helldivers 2. I didn't get a chance to put in my refund request yet, but I still might try. I don't trust Sony to not try it again later. And be sure that any other game they put on PC will also have that from the start, like Ghost of Tsushima.After all these years I don't even care if and when they finally do PC Bloodborne. For me, what will just be when PS4 emulation gets good enough.

I just remembered an except from the Altered Carbon book, where Kovacz is walking around on the streets of Earth, and he literally has to have an adblocker installed on his prefrontal cortex because every building he walks past tries to beam their advertisement directly into his brain, implying that this is just normal and everyone else is under that constant bombardment.I don't want that future to exist but I don't trust it not to.:neofox_scream:

So, I got some cash for my birthday, and I was thinking... there aren't really any games I want to buy full price. Monster Hunter Wilds and Stalker 2 both won't run well on this PC (unoptimized POS Unreal) and even if they did, I don't have the storage space for them.So I'm thinking instead, to spend that money on additional storage. But I can't decide if I want an additional internal 2TB HDD, a second 1TB M.2 SSD, or an external 2TB drive to finally have some reliable backups. Any suggestions?
