#caturdayGina BackstoryOnce feral, she turned up skittish but would eat food we left on the back porch, then got curious about us and started getting up in our kitchen window to check out what was going on inside. Then we saw we had a forecast coming that was going to get well below freezing, so we tricked her into our garage and trapped her in there where we could slowly earn her trust. Once she discovered hands can give pets, it was game over. She currently is purring on my legs as I type.

@KarenKasparArt Have always loved peonies. As a kid our neighbor grew two huge beautiful pink ones. Now that we've moved to an area where they can grow, I planted a couple root stocks in the fall in our front planting area. Looking forward to spring to see how they do. 🙂

3 cats and 130lb dog chasing a tiny mouse across the entire upstairs part of the house makes a LOT of noise. Especially when they come thundering down the stairs.Mouse got lucky. The days I have a Drs appt is so God damn draining. Being forced to go into largely maskless environments to get any kind of care.My Drs office at least will have their staff mask around patients who request it, but that doesn't help with the common areas where it's just maskless ppl everywhere. I always schedule for 1st appt of the day to try and get in and out before too many ppl have been in there.I fucking hate it here.#COVID #MasksInHealthcare

For reals, as someone living in NY, dealing w long COVID fall out for four fucking years...Kathy Hochul can go fuck herself.
