Well said LangCleg. I think most women do a mix. In some spaces, mostly IRL we speak openly, we speak openly in ome online spces, and anon in other online spaces.Sometimes being anon helps us express arguments more emphatically than we could openly. And also, disagreements are good. If we all agreed on everything we would become stale and dogmatic, without capability of developing ideas. @LangCleg @meghanmurphy

@LangCleg it is beyond bizarre, that mnhq either cannot see that the FWR regulars are being picked off one by one, or don’t care. Apart from it obviously being grotesque that a forum for mothers should not care about safeguarding of children. Sometimes impartiality is complicity.

The amount of virus you are exposed to does matter. If you have been exposed to a tiny bit, you are unlikely to get any symptoms at all. It is not an either/or matter. Actually, being exposed to a very small amount, might even help build up immunity.@knucker @Nora

Oh, good lord. The penny just dropped. The whole thing now reads like a woman who never felt she belonged anywhere (she says as much herself), having an almighty identity crisis! There is something deeply sad about seeing someone try to make another woman into a mother figure, the way Stock is clung to here, and another, in this case Posie, being spoken about as the pretty and popular girl from primary school who will never understand your troubles.And alongside it all, clinging for dear life to a lifelong belief in left=good right=bad, which now incomprehensibly to her, sees her accused of being elitist. @juneseed @Ladyfat a lot of women (and men) think it is a shield against accusations of transphobia. That was shown up as a false hope years ago. I am really tired of feminists defending themselves against the accusation, as “transphobia” is not a coherent concept. If you don’t believe there is a condition called “transness” that some people have, the desire to be inclusive of men who claim to have it is shown up for what it is; female socialisation into a desire to be seen as “kind”.
