@futurebird okay, serious question from someone who doesn't eat eggs: I'm seeing liquid eggs in 32oz cartons at a lower price on my grocery apps than a dozen eggs. Are those an acceptable substitute?

@tops @futurebird at that price, Just Egg (vegan egg like made from mung beans) becomes a cheaper alternative. You could make 6-10 blocks of scrambled tofu for less.

@futurebird that's literally my apocalypse plan. I need to not be bored in my bunker. Also part of a story I wrote where the very self insert MC downloads every book, movie and game into a drive, sets up solar power, tucks into her bunker, and realizes she left her charging cables behind.

@futurebird all of middle school was trauma for me. Getting beat up because I looked poor and sustaining injuries that would carry lifelong complications, and being told by both my parents and the school authority that I should have "fought back" was particularly fun.

@futurebird poorly laid out kitchens with outdated appliances, vinyl sheet flooring, low ceilings, and horrible lighting? Is that what they took? Because I guarantee, if I found a house like this (very easy to do in most of America), and offered to trade this person for what they have now (I'm guessing overpriced and tacky, probably gold plated), something tells me they won't miss it that badly.

@futurebird D. The idea of "futuristic" never really got past the atomic age. In the 80s it became dystopian chic (think blade runner, mad max), and in the 90s it became grandma's mauve carpet and 90s aesthetics with lots of videos screens ala Star Trek TNG/Voyager/DS9.

@futurebird I hate that. I tried to tell a supervisor that I couldn't just impromptu speak in front of a room of people due to anxiety and his response was, "Of course you can!" Needless to say, that didn't go well.

@futurebird My first took nearly 8 years from idea to published. The next 14 all happened in the span of 4 years. Aside from one that I pulled kicking and screaming out just to end a series, I've written nothing in the six years since. So I guess to answer how for me: hyperfication.

@futurebird We had a consignment shop when I was a kid and the "designer" labels were things like Jordache and Gloria Vanderbilt. My mom shipped there a lot, but we never sold anything (mainly because our new clothes came from Kmart and other discount stores).
