       @futurebird 😂 I once made the mistake of getting lettuces for two aerogardens that would sit on the kitchen counter. it was like, oh, in 3 weeks, we can have...what, like, half a salad? for one person maybe? But for real, those beans look nice!

       @futurebird i just got a reply from hochul in response (i think?) to what i sent about chucking the mayor. The reply doesn’t say anything about any issue though, so i’m not sure what it responds to.) it came at 10pm this evening. Useless reply but i think they are required to log my initial query so still worth having done it, whatever it was. 🫤

       @futurebird i am a brown lady and got a shitton of those cuomo flyers addressed to me, sometimes three in one day. My partner, who is white, got zero. We are still trying to figure it out, but my best guess right now is that i’m on our city council person’s mailing list & she’s a white eldergay whose newsletters often have her posing with nypd from the 112th precinct.

       If you are in #NYC and following the scavenger hunt, hope you have a great time! Instructions for the 1st clue are only on Bluesky (?), not even on Youtube, where he could have shut off the comments--on Bluesky some pedant has posted the answer to the first clue and made it a history lesson, which, you know, is part of the point, but JFC, let people get there on their own, my dude! It's a game & you've ruined it before it even starts. The usual super tedious things about social media. Sigh.

       @carrideen @futurebird right. the other tricks i know are pretty clustered around midtown: museum memberships, making to the mall at columbus circle, NYPL branches. Used to be Crate & Barrel, which had a set of maybe 4 stalls in 2 bathrooms. but then it moved downtown, and now there's one stall that's harder to access.
