Welcome to Quodverum, or the Quod, or simply QV. Hints? Sure.Leave the far right panel on LOCAL, which is almost every toot. If you like someone's comments, click & check out their home pg. If you like it, follow them. (Grayed out people+ symbol, top right.)After awhile, your HOME panel will fill up (with stuff from your follows) & you'll spend less time trying to read all the Local.

Best Hint Ever 👍 Here's something you'll LOVE. You just sent a toot. Mispellellelled something. CRAPSo, click on your toot. Hit 3 button icon at bottom. Click "delete & redraft". It just erased, vanished, & popped back to your TOOT panel. Edit, toot all over again. Problem solved. But do it quickly, because this also erases ALL comments & replies from others.😎 😎

@Jakegint Jake, you don't need the app, or Mastodon software. You can use a web browser only. Turn your phone sideways, btw.If you want the app on your phone, look in store for Tusky app, download, open. Use same logon you now use in web browser. Might be wise to delete an old old version & just re-install, not upgrade.Lots of discussion about apps, answers will settle down, most agree none are as good as web browser, but Tusky is perhaps the best, currently.

Often, almost identical pics show huge in 1 toot, small in another.If anyone figures out some reliable rules of thumb in this subject, plz tag me in your toot.

@DuaneCates Naw, it'll be done in an hr or less. When finished, it will give you a link directly to the vid, which you really should cut n paste n save somewhere.Also, you can grab your own screenshot, or any other photo, & when it's done encoding, use that one instead for a thumbnail to the vid. They will give you a couple choices, pulled from vid at random, to use.Use your own. Can't change it later, I think.
