       @nanoelquant @Deglassco We are talking about the 19th century, (Your?) society should have developed meanwhile.The fact that Mary most probably - in her own interests - would have voted Republican if  ever in her long life she  would have had the right to vote is sort of ironic.

       @AutisticMumTo3  It is amazing how the UK assumes that we want it to rejoin.We already have enough members for whom economic aspects are more important than a "European Spirit" and common values (e.g. Poland, Hungary).Why should I want a country  which is doubtful concerning democracy (e.g. hereditary Lords, FPTP), and human rights (e.g. Five Eyes, Uganda) to (co-)decide about my living conditions?
