       @ww3real , he's right to say it. The whole "amass a gigantic force and deploy/destroy it all at once" seemed like something a 14 year old would do in a RTS game.

       @Alon @ww3real , the tying up resources side is interesting, because I'm still not convinced in the Indian economic miracle, and I would still think China and USA have the deeper productive forces than India/NATO. Whereas WWII Germany was always on the losing side of that battle.But the WWII air war took 5 years! Here, they just let off all the fireworks at once.

The best analogy for this level of collapse is warlord era China, and it depends how invested Alon is in the Selva Clique storyline as to whether they'll eventually do a northern expedition and put things back together again. But I wish the mutants of Newf well during the initial bloodshed.

       @wanderoo @timbray @ww3real those cases had natural fault lines to fall back on, and a smaller population by 1 or 2 orders of magnitude. In any event, you can guarantee the CCP did nothing to secure/dismantle the nuclear stockpile, so it'll be fun to see what happens there.

       @pony @timbray @Alon @wanderoo @ww3real , I'm sure there are plenty of unsavoury types who could make them useful in some capacity, in the same way there were huge fears about the post-Soviet assets. Anyway, if I were looking for some kind of NATO intervention in North America, this is the excuse I'd use to get the right people to pay attention.
