@BigSkyRider Aldi's has been doing this for forever now. Though it's still only a quarter in the states. They don't want to pay for the cart jockey.

@maxburn mint adds value, though I've only done that on devices that cannot legally run Windows 7. Not sure the garage sale crowd will appreciate Linux. eBay might be better.

@Klaatu We use Red pocket on many of our lines. Most on ATT, but a few on the TMobile network. The low speed unlimited data is not very usable, as it's capped at 12k/sec. But they are cheap. These are all yearly (360 day) plans, FYI.

@Viking Having a computer with 2 NICs is all you need for PFSense. For my setup I have Comcast go into the PFSense firewall. This goes out to a gigabit switch. You could use PFSense as DHCP, but I use a raspberry pi with pihole for DHCP and DNS. I have 2 routers in wifi only mode for wireless.

@Brycicle eBay is great as you only have to ship and not deal with people in person. It does depend on the item, as low value items will be losers when shipping is factored in.
