       @pluralistic I realized today that I didn't want to put a board game on my Amazon "wishlist," because when it sells out Amazon just seamlessly replaces it with a 3rd party vendor selling it at three times the normal price, and I didn't want anyone to waste that kind of money on my behalf.

       @Teri_Kanefield It's a funny idea, but hard to imagine someone worth 100B's of dollars would spend 10B's of dollars to take his cut of the "ad revenue" which might amount to... $1M a year, if it's crazy generous?Occam's razor: he thought that he could get more engagement by making more people see his tweets, but Twitter was ALREADY trying to maximize his engagement, so additional people he's exposing himself to are reacting mostly by blocking him, or leaving Twitter.
