@tek Even if nuclear were a perfect and affordable solution to fossil fuels, it isn't, it will always be a tech that is only accessible to the super powers and their friends. Is everyone fine if North Korea or Syria or some other bogeyman of the west develops their own nuclear power? Lets be honest, the 3rd world and the global south will never be allowed to go nuclear (unless maybe they agree to let another super power colonize their electricity market) so what then? Energy colonialism

@tek In my opinion climate "solutions" should not include something that is not equitably available to everyone."Hey developing world stop polluting... but also you can't use this technology to do it, only we can do that. Sorry that our pollution excess is visiting the greatest climate harms on you the poorest people least able to mitigate those harms. How about we give you predatory IMF loan to clean up your energy or maybe privatize you're electricity to us and we will build the reactors"
