@francisscottkey I was stationed at MCAS Tustin in 1998, and moved MAG-16 from Tustin to MCAS Miramar as part of BRAC. That hanger was massive, all-wood construction. It seemed bigger than a Dome stadium inside. The huge CH-53 helicopters looked like die cast toys in that enormous space. Such a shame that it is now gone forever.

@Bryan_Richardson My all-time favorite vanity plate spotted on I-95 in Virginia in 2017. Notice the Beto sticker. VA residents couldn't even vote for Beto! Election denier! Arrest them and lock them up for 18 months!

@FortyTwo The Corpsman gave us 800 mg Motrin for just about everything. It was so common, we called it "Vitamin M." My brother-in-law was an Army Ranger and they called the"Ranger Candy."

@ThatLARRYSHOW Catching up on TLS #430 and wanted to share some other Secret Codes You Need To Know. This is a pamphlet from Virginia Commonwealth University Medial Center for law enforcement. It was just lying there next to the magazines in a waiting room. Pretty sure these codes weren't meant for the public. And during my time in that hospital, I've heard more than a few of these paged out over the intercom.

@sirjerrykhurl my daughter applied to VCU but ended up at GMU. Great hospital, but in the worst part of town. The university is woke as crap but the medical care is top notch.

We had a great meal and shared stories about our No Agenda experiences. So much in common among NA Producers; I've never met another producer who I couldn't talk to. @dave Why dynamic ad insertion is worthless:I just finished listening to the latest episode of Security Now. Leo's failing ad-supported model has now resorted to dynamically inserting ads at the end of the episode. Today, Steve excoriated Cox Media Services, parent company of Cox Internet, over a misguided "active listening" data collection scheme. After the episode ended, the algo inserted a Cox Communications ISP ad! You just can't make this stuff up.

Just watched The Engineer on Netflix. Film documents the assassination of a Hamas bomb maker in the 1990s. The movie was released in Aug 2023, just a couple months before Oct 7th.Coincendence?
