       Now I have a political incentive.Apple won't miss me. I don't buy trash like iPhones or iPads (not new anyway). And that's their core business now.But I'm the influencer at a fast company that hired 200 people last year.I'm now dedicated to ensuring that the only apple products we own will be for our dev team.Me? I'll keep my 5G and Mac Pro running for twenty more years.But I'm already designing my new PC.I'll never look back.

       @inverness01 Many good off the shelf PCs. Look at Dell. Three years ago I wouldn't have recommended Dell. But they make a good machine again. I'm very happy with our beast.Laptops I'd stay with Acer and Asus. BIG bang for your buck. But shop and drive a few.Questions? Ride the Google horse.I wasn't always a techy. I went to school for economics. Totally self-taught.

       @inverness01 Yeah, android is Google's bitch at one end or the other. That said, there at least is the option to root an android phone to make it yours. If you want to dive down that hole...I love Samsung - an affinity I'm sure I'll regret eventually. Great phones. Great batteries. Great cameras.The biggest difference is they are harder to break. They don't chip or crack on first drop.And they are typically cheaper but my last S9+ wasn't cheap either.Check one out if you can.
