       @Ricardus @msquebanh Can confirm, they were called "husbands" before that - at least as far back as the 70s, when I was a kid. Farther, if I got that from my mom, which I think I did.

       @Ricardus @msquebanh The ones we had were made of brown corduroy so in my mind they are quintessentially 70s. But for all I know my mom was calling them that in the 40s and 50s. Apparently they still exist, they probably have wifi now.  I Am Old
