@Tilopa I’ve made a similar argument about Trump to some of his most fervent fan boys and girls. - Sweet Baby Jesus gave you your very own gold plated billionaire president and you broke him. Ruined his life.They hate that argument. 😌

@Tilopa Waco is right down the road from me. I used to go there yearly to face paint for Cinco De Mayo. It’s a pretty town especially for Texas, which has a lot of mediocre drab towns. The mayor isn’t even attending and no elected Texas officials either.

@Tilopa Good. I’m glad. I’ll probably be watching too. Right Side Broadcasting on YT. I’ve watched almost all of his rallies as I like to get my own read on these events. But I have to smoke up first so I can stomach it. RSB is really riding him to profits while presenting themselves as God’s little shepherds of the flock. It’s pretty grimy.

@Tilopa That was bleak. I hope something breaks your way. I had a 2 yr stretch like that. It seemed endless. I’d like to say something broke my way that dispelled the feeling, but it didn’t. It just kinda dissipated and a kind of relentless stoicism took its place. Well, one thing changed. Moved to different house I chose because it had a nice view. Sometimes I wonder if it was the prior house. Thought maybe it was haunted.Hope your illness has abated.Physical pain makes everything worse.

@Tilopa Yikes! Hope at least you can retrieve those items. Sobriety isn’t that bad. My husband is an alcoholic. Albeit a high functioning one as is the norm among the males of his family. He says it is a cultural Korean thing but his Dr says it’s a- now you’ve got enlarged blood cells and a beat up gut, thing. So you’ll be doing yourself a long term favor, T. I do hope things improve. Too bad we’re not neighbors. We could walk it off. That helped me some. Aimless walking with music.

@Tilopa Damn livers, lol. Mine is recovering. I had been taking too many nsaids over the years. Now I’m allowed only 1 Excederin migraine tab for my daily migraine. Which is usually first thing in the morning. The rest of my body pain will just have to depend on my trusty heating pad and yoga. Which I love/hate as the floor seems to have a magnetic attraction to my body and would rather I just remain there indef. Things will improve and wane, improve and wane. Change is the nature of things.

@Tilopa Sometimes we let the things that ease us slip away for reasons unknown or known. My walking has been greatly curtailed due to anxiety because I nearly, very stupidly got myself perished crossing the street. Huge truck, Texas sized beast nearly ran me down. My fault entirely. But now I’m timid. I love opiates, the pain as it diminishes. But eschew them because they’re so lovely and dangerous. Too easy a slide, too easy a death.

Thorpa@Tilopa@convo.casa We moved into Dallas proper after having lived in a walkable rural area. Gloriously it’s on a small quarry lake but no trails as the lake butts up to private yards. Not the greatest neighborhood, not the worst. Husband man has forbade my rambling walks, lol. So yoga it is. Recreational drugs beyond my green affinity are a thing of the past. But I’d not turn it down as a pain free day would be so lovely. Sleepy, comfy drugs shouldn’t kill folks. Where’s the tech?
