@francoisguite @kioken I also emailed all recently active users, but it could have arrived in your spam folder or something like that.It's true though that I spent most of my evening and night yesterday trying to understand what was going on, then trying to fix it, rather than communicating, at least until around 2am CEST. I didn't really know where to do that. It's easier when a server has issues because I can simply display an error message.

@kioken @francoisguite We have a status page.. at https://status.mastodon.xyz. Not very useful when the domain is suspended.I'll look into moving it to somewhere else in the future.Great uptimes there btw.

@claudegohier @status why not. I think moving the status page to another domain, and advertising it more, would be a better first step, as it does not require people to use Mastodon to read it

@SocksPls well they do not federate yet, so no. I don't think we'll block them but I have not really looked into it yet. Will do if it causes serious issues for xyz obviously.

@laetsgo Dans ce genre de cas, j'augmente le nombre de processus qui gèrent ça, mais ça reste impossible de le faire à toute vitesse quand il y a des centaines de milliers d'opérations à effectuer.. En somme il faut attendre et ça va se résoudre dans la nuit progressivement
