Stephen Pinker pointed out in an interview i saw a while back, that preserving national parks was once seen as a rich man's game. it was viewed that only rich white people were going camping. we're starting to see that again now.

i love small artwork. i once met a guy who worked at an antique shop, who would spend all day making doll house paintings(tiny paintings for use in doll houses), that he would sell. he had about 50 of them on the all behind him. all under the size of the palm of a man's hand.
