@Xienoan @satori If you must use Google services for anything like this, encrypt it. 7zip on Windows can be used to encrypt a folder, including filenames, so it cannot be accessed without a decryption passphrase. Otherwise, avoid Google and other mainstream platforms like the plague they have become. =c

@Xienoan Yeah I am in the same sort of boat. I have a Gmail for this persona only because it is the most accessible option. I do not send any sensitive info across it however. @Tsutsuji Yeah this happened to me before. It is not a ban but a shitty anti-bot thing. Apparently it can trigger if you add too many friends, no matter how far apart you add them, because it thinks that is what bots do. Idiots, but the only way to get through is to add some phone number.

@Tsutsuji Ohhh well fuck that. >=c then yeah it could be the new-ness of the email like others were saying. Discord imo is a shit platform, especially for privacy, and we all need to move to something else like matrix or something self-hostable or federated like Baraag. I get the friends thing though. I hate how some big corporation has the power to rip you from those you know and basically force you into isolation. Hope it all works out. =c

@Tsutsuji 0.0 Maybe it really is an IP ban. If you can access your router, try releasing and renewing your IP address. You could also maybe try turning the TPM off if you are not on Windows 11 or using a different OS temporarily if that does not work. That really is fucking weird.

@Tsutsuji Yeah I understand that. There are other platforms out there, like Matrix or RocketChat or things of that nature that are similar enough to Discord. Dunno if Fosscord would help at all, but that is there as well. You could try one of those and hang out with your friends there. c=Believe me, I know how you feel. @satori It really feels like the only way forward is for NSFW artists and platform hosts to band together for a class-action lawsuit against payment processors for some form of discrimination. Large payment processors and platforms such as Patreon should not be allowed to ban completely legal transactions/content. I just fear that alternative payment processors will not be able to gain enough traction to stay afloat against the likes of shitbags like PayPal. Keep brainstorming friends. <3
