Weird #food #goal of 2023: try a TON of different kinds of instant noodle!Today is a double posting! Yesterday I had the Paldo brand ones, which are chicken glavored stir-fried noodles in spicy soy sauce! Today I’m trying the Kokomen “clean spicy” instant noodles with chicken soup!Yesterdays noodles were topped with vegan sausage, vegan dumplings, kimchi and bean sprouts!This will be a thread I maintain until I’m tired of the idea 😂 so it will be pinned on my profile!

Tonight’s preparation!I used the “clean and spicy” instant noodle for this. It has an actual broth to it unlike the noodles from last night, and is a fairly mild and pleasant spice! Most of it comes from dried chili flakes in the package. I was in the mood for decent spice and crispiness, so I added a vegan buffalo chicken patty, mild kimchi because it’s what I had open out of my kimchi selection, and vegan dumplings again!Overall these noodles are pleasant and I would buy them again!

January 7, 2023: I made a really simple instant noodle today. Just used the spicy soy sauce version from further up the thread, added some shredded seaweed to the top, and some “Plant Inspired” branded “vegan steak” which is Korean BBQ flavored and also used some Napa Cabbage kimchi! Potentially a lot of weird flavors going on here, but it looks tasty at least 😋 (and upon first taste it’s AMAZING, although the “steak” does have a very strong smoky flavor which I personally like)

One final note on this for the night! This is semi-inspired by Lisa Nguyen on YouTube, if you haven’t seen her stuff and like Short style content I recommend checking her out! She’s funny and makes a lot of yummy looking food!It also is just inspired by my love for instant noodles and trying out different ways of preparing thing. I expect this challenge to get WEIRD as I go forward, especially if I can find some of the “desert” style instant noodle.I’m excited to try more preparations! 😌

January 15, 2023: Today I tried my first ever instant noodle in black bean sauce! It was EXTREMELY good!I love black beans so I figured I'd like it, but I was shocked with how much flavor existed in just the plain noodle bowl!Of course I had to spruce it up though :blobcatgiggle:

Something related I'd like to say that I don't think I should have to is... please don't boost posts about someone's genitals. My relationship with gender has always been weird, for a very long time I pretended to be a boy because it was easy but theres been multiple times in life where I don’t feel like I belong to any gender. The more I figure out about myself internally the more I realize being a woman isn’t exactly 100% right for me, BUT is far more fitting and comfortable than being a boy/man. THAT is why I identify as non-binary. And while theres more to it than that, this is a single toot way to explain it.

@imdat I misgender and deadname myself internally frequently. It's especially bad when I'm at work, where I *have* to respond to that name and those pronouns. It doesn't invalidate who we really are, nor how we feel. Stay strong :ablobcatheart:
