@REX - I got sidetracked from the question, but my thoughts have always been that Biden has been playing a role. His behavior and the things he has said have been simply too bizarre for a real candidate. (Fracking, etc.)Remember, they were trying to convince the normies that Mueller had dementia. I haven't checked, but I bet he still has his gig at the big name Washington law firm. They wouldn't keep Mueller on if he had dementia (malpractice). I think Biden is the Judas Goat.

@REX @ThomasWic - One minor little nuance here. Although I have no doubt Trump is in charge, he's not superman, or at least not as much of one as people think. He couldn't be doing what he is doing without help from the factions of the military that support him. I believe they are doing the heavy lifting.

@REX - I remember learning about the electoral college in school and how it was supposed to serve as a firewall to protect against a government takeover. I never really bothered to understand the mechanics, but this makes sense given what the intent of the electoral college was (or at least the way I learned it).

@REX - Trump isn't doing this alone. In fact, I believe the military faction that recruited him is running the show. (I would love to know the actual logistics of how they pull things off.) I don't want to take anything away from Trump. He's very good and he has his role, but I don't know that any one man can be that good. So let me slightly rephrase your question: "How did these idiots think they'd be able to defeat the US Military? Were they insane?"

@ThomasWic - I agree with your assessment except for one caveat. I get the feeling there is more direct control based on how comped all the nominees are, like Janet Yellen or Suzi Levine, the lady who let $600 million get stolen by "Nigerian Scammers" (yeah, right). It's like they are being forced into the spotlight in order to be shamed. Otherwise, I'm with you. Too much weirdness going on for something else to not be happening.
