@Yakov @DocScranton Each human civ shown in the Horus Heresy is doing just fine without the Imperium and even progressing with their own STC base. Not to mention the multiple forge worlds and their pocket empires. The Imperium just gives no fucks and demands immediate acceptance or destruction.

@DocScranton @Eris @Yakov They are I think. They haven't retconed it iirc. Nurgle is born in the black dead, Khorne by the dark ages, Tzeentch as well. Slaanesh is formed by the Eldar. This is old old lore tho, like 2nd edition in the 80s. I think they imply now that Chaos has always been a thing but the chaos gods as they are specifically now are just it's newest incarnation.

@Yakov @DocScranton @Eris Guilliman works better in modern 40k funny enough since he's the blunt buzzkill surrounded by the insanity of the setting. (Although I do think bringing any primarch back is ultimately bad for the setting) The other loyal primarch were fun, like Vulkan being a huge simp for normal humans but gleefully roasts eldar children with no care in the world.

Found a teahouse in town recently. Been taking my grandma there when she's free since I've converted her to dumping her teabags for loose tea blends after I got her a proper teapot. Turns they do coffee as well! Had a cup of yellow bourbon coffee with her. Nice day. :ablobcatcoffee:
