I've posted about this once before, but I'll say it again. If you're working off a Hegelian framework, you basically cannot imagine a good relationship existing. An equal relation, beyond master and slave, can only exist in the future, beyond the present and past of the dialectic. But the true path is discovering the future in the past, or as Leanne Simpson puts it revolution is 'the past and present collapsing into the future'.
