Wanna support an unemployed disabled queer with their unending wheelchair maintenance and medicine costs?cash.app/$TeaMug Venmo: TeaMugThe state provides me $200 a month - but prescriptions, OTCs, grocery delivery fees, bills, and copays use that up, and it's never enough. My partners can only cover so much of my remaining costs, and we're saving to move to accessible housing, which tightens margins further. Current needs in replies.

URGENT REPAIRS, $223:My SmartDrive (detachable power assist) died. We spent money we don't have to cover this fee. I live in a hilly place and don't have a car. My self-propelling ability tanks in summer. Pls helpPUSHRIMS, $193/345: I got a great deal on a used set of Bad Weather/Rough Terrain wheels for the PNW rain and snow season, but need different pushrims for my particular hands. The cheaper option would make them usable with some extra work. The other option is what's best for my hands. MAINTENANCE FUND $100: The cost of an emergency tread replacement, including shop fee; a pair of gloves (my hands are my brakes); and new front wheel bearingsOROne pair replacement treads, average sale price. The remains of my maintenance fund got used for my SmartDrive repair.

MEDICATIONS, $45:I have copays. Can't pick up these until I have the money again. PET FOOD, ANY:Not out yet, but pet food money had to get spent on the power assist repair, and if the drive isn't repaired in the next two weeks I'll have to order it online (which means extra costs)

@vantablack so the horrible-amazing things I think about this, since it really is rent-free in my head:-this means magical people didn't potty train. Even though humans, like most mammals, have instinctive behavior around body waste and separating it from areas of sleep/play/eating or such. And all those magical wizards and witches just, like, break that instinct, for no reason. And convince the muggleborns to. Not even a pot or hole to go in and then the contents are vanished! -vanishing is one of things learned in the later years at school, and is apparently difficult.So-who in magic society vanishes the shit of 13 year olds? What if you couldn't vanish your own piss, then what??And then as a teenager who's learned, having to ask your parents to vanish your piss during the summer?? I really don't know what feverish drug trip she found this idea on, but I hate that she inflicted it on us

Need incontinence supplies and prescriptions $50/50 -extra can help me stock upHad some extra medical expenses in June and tried to put off other daily expense needs. Apparently they're still needed daily in July! Who knew! (Not me, I've been stuck with migraines, migraine response meds, and their various after effects)Basically means my disability this month isn't enough to pay for my needs. Thanks for helping me stay clean, dry, and medicated. Less than two months till my neurologist can get me my migraine preventative back! (Fuck re-auths, guys, needing my doctor to beg yearly for me to continue a medication is shit)https://venmo.com/u/TeaMughttps://cash.app/$TeaMugEdit: forgot the tags@mutualaid #mutualaid #DisabilityMutualAid #CrowdFund

@mutualaid Still 0/50 or this. Ran out of incontinence supplies. Have meds waiting at the pharmacy. And my bills are starting their autopays, including ones that couldn't bill in June, so twice billed means I can't use disability and push the bills offAnd I will need more OTC migraine meds to supplement my prescription migraine med, I'm burning through this stuff

Help with prescriptions and new shoes $25/10019 days until neurology appointment when I get my migraine preventative back!! Hopefully after that I won't have to keep doing this. I need funds to cover the cost of additional medications and OTCs because of ongoing chronic migraines, I'm burning through a lot of supplies and I want to have Words with whoever invented insurance re-authorization. Also I finally destroyed my shoes, they're past the point of repair or salvage, and not only do I have some specific shoes needs because of physical disability I'm also an extremely uncommon shoe size so I have to buy new. "How does a wheelchair user wear out shoes?" at least one of you may be wondering, while politely not askingI'm in a sharing mood, so I'll tell you.For about 60% of us, the same ways you do, because most of us are "ambulatory": we can stand/walk a couple steps/maneuver across a room/have a condition with inconstant mobility effects/etc. So worn out soles and crease points that crack/rip/however the material dies.Conditions that make wheelchairs better than walking tend to affect mobility elsewhere in the body, so we can also put unusual stress or wear on shoes from however we get them on or off. (I completely unseated several grommets, distorted then tore the holes the grommets were set in, wore holes through the canvas upper big enough to fit a toe, and the upper has been unbonding from the tread so much it has now become a way to funnel water into the inner sole. ... Look, getting shoes on is hard, okay?) "Do you even need shoes?" And let strangers look at my toes??? How lewd!"Your shoe size can't be that uncommon"Men's 3.5/women's 5.5. In the USA. Bet.
