       #Recommendations please:Stories...(mainly TV series available on #AmazonPrime or #Netflix, but open to #movies & #books too)... that are rooted in and do something interesting with #TimeTravel.Note: Doctor Who is not, for the most part, about time travel. Time travel is merely a contrivance to allow for a breadth of stories, so Who doesn't count here (though I could probably think of some specific episodes that do something interesting with time travel if I put my mind to it).The same is true of Quantum Leap.I guess The Time Traveler's Wife (Niffenegger) would fit to a degree, but it's not quite as time travel focused as I'm looking for.Essentially, if I get introduced to some decent stories I'll be happy.

       I follow a great selection of #maths #teachers on twitter, but most are either not jumping ship or they're going to BlueSky or (yuck) Threads.I lament their loss from my timeline and feel that if I were to find some more excellent people here I might be able to coax a few over, so...If you're a teacher...... especially of maths...... and especially in the #UK...I'd love it if you'd make yourself known.[And if you're not any of these things I'd love it if you'd...a) Let me know what we _do_ have in common (if you're interested in connecting with me)b) Boost me in case you have some people who are those things in your networks]

       On [Mastodon/BlueSky] (the one you're reading this on) today I've seen people complaining about how smug/stupid/unfriendly people on [BlueSky/Mastodon] (the other one) are.It's not absolutely essential that you pick an enemy, you know. You don't *have* to hate people on the basis of arbitrary associations.
