#osamabinladen #ISIS #sealteam6 #propaganda #msm Remember the bizarre story of Osama Bin Laden's killing in his Pakistani Abbottabad hideout by 'Seal Team 6'? An eliteteam that then mysteriously (and rather conveniently) perished in a helicopter accident in Afghanistan only weeks later. That story didn't hold up to any scrutiny. The Biden Administration has tried a rerun of the exact (and here I do mean exact) same story in the hunting down of the ISIS head honcho in Turkish occupied Syria - including a failing chopper that had to be destroyed on the ground. What's up with that? What is interesting this time around is that the western main stream media barely even made an effort to regurgitate this story. Showcasing how little believe is left in such White House propaganda.https://edition.cnn.com/2022/02/03/politics/situation-room-joe-biden-isis-strike/index.html

#Syria #usmilitary #foreverwars #peoplearestrange #caitlinjohnstoneFiring a 155-millimetre howitzer in Syria twice a week into the surrounding desert at no specific target “just to say we’re here” is simply the US military’s version of working at a desk forty hours a week doing essentially nothing other than making the boss and the shareholders a tiny bit richer than they already were.https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2021/04/13/meditations-on-us-forces-firing-a-howitzer-into-the-empty-desert-just-to-say-were-here/

There may be more to this. Over the past few decades sex for the young has been vilified, while sex for the elders became glorified. Not sure what is behind that trend but it is there nonetheless. So this is a neat, somewhat socially acceptable, compromise.

#Latvia #Russia #EU #minorities #ethniccleansing Russian speakers currently comprise about 25% of Latvia’s total population. And Latvia wants to get rid of them. All of this is blatantly flying in the face of EU laws on the protection of minorities. And Latvia is an EU member state. But when it comes to Russian minorities, the EU continues to have a huge blind spot. Brussels is tacitly backing the ethnic cleansing of people it deems untrustworthy.https://swentr.site/russia/626619-volodin-latvia-deportations/

#Rush #ticketmaster #music #musicindustry #livenationWith one of my favorite bands touring again - though with a new drummer and on the wrong continent - I have been watching from afar how the ticket sales are going. The one thing that astounded me were the prices. The last time I saw Rush (over a decade ago) tickets were available below the $50 mark. Today $800 for similar seats are no exception. Though I am sure that the band members get a significant cut, the discussion is now about who are really benefiting from the current concert industry system.Things aren't this ridiculously bad in European concert venues - yet. But we are getting there. https://metalwani.com/2025/10/rush-getting-fleeced-bob-wegner-ticketmaster.html

#debt #odiousdebt #China #US #debttrapWestern private creditors hold approximately 35% of Africa's external debt, according to calculations based on World Bank data.In comparison, Chinese lenders account for 12% of African governments' external debt. When John Perkins wrote back in the 2000's that the World Bank/IMF institutions were really about bankrupting developing nations to do the western bidding he was smeared by the media in the West. Now the same media screams that China is using these exact debt trap tactics to ensnare nations in its web. You can't have it both ways people - either it exists or it does not. This article claims the 'China debt trap' narrative is real. See if its arguments hold up, but keep in mind that it is Epoch Times writing this. https://archive.fo/d0rer

#Bureaucracy #History #CollectiveWest #stagnation #JiangXueqinDeath by Bureaucracy? As a young man I was drafted into state governance and I have loathed (state) bureaucracy ever since.Bureaucracy erases humanity and atrophies everything. Rules become dogma's where even reason itself is seen as dissent. Civilizations that are near their end develop bloated bureaucracies that suck the remaining lifeblood from society itself. This has held true since the times of the pyramids and clay tablets. Guess where we are now in the Collective West? Nobody on the left or right even denies anymore that bureaucracy is slowly killing us. The only thing that effectively counters bureaucracies is destroying the very host they live on. Without hosts parasites wither and die. Back in 1944 the Nazi armament minister Albert Speer came to the same conclusion, when he cheekily mentioned in a speech before bureaucrats how the allied bombing raids cut the notorious German bureaucracy. Predictive History doesn't see a way out of 'Death by Bureacracy". It is a long lecture, but well worth watching to get a deeper understanding of what we are dealing with today. I am not as pessimistic as Jiang Xueqin. Civilizational bureaucracies have been successfully reformed in the past (Byzantium comes to mind) - though these instances have been few and far between. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk_yhi3-prw

When I was working in construction I had a guy on the crew who could (figuratively) thread a string through a needle with heavy machinery like this.He was incredibly in tune with his machine. It was a joy to behold.

#5G #spying #kevinwalmsley #China #Huawei One of the things that Edward Snowden revealed was how the western telecom networks were invested with American spyware. That in itself was not surprising, as much of the old hard/software came from American companies. But the scale of the infestation went far beyond what experts previously believed. Then came China, providing new superior 5G networks manufactured by companies like Huawei and ZTE. And the US panicked and overreacted. The decision was made by the American deep state to destroy Huawei and ZTE, just like the US had done with Japanese tech juggernaut Toshiba decades earlier. We know the hysterical stories in the main stream media about Chinese spyware in 5G. What is never ever mentioned in those stories is that Huawei offered full disclosure of all their technology so it could be checked for spyware. A world map of 5G networks today shows how this American scheme has panned out. Huawei 5G tech is mostly banned or being phased out in the Collective West and India, but nowhere in the rest of the world. Which is the fast majority. The real joke is that there are no serious American 5G suppliers left in 2026. The surviving western telecom companies were thrown a lifeline by the US ban of Chinese 5G, but no American company has really benefited from this. There is no doubt in my mind that the US forced some of its spying capabilities to be included in the tech delivered by the remaining western 5G manufacturers. But it will take another Edward Snowden to really confirm that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhoTv296dp8

#insects #letthemeatbugs #protein #nutrition #labgrownmeatTrying to get western consumers to eat insects goes back a long way. The cultural aversion to actually eat those insects goes back even further. Here in my Netherlands I recall campaign goings back as far as the seventies that tried to popularize the eating of worms (rain worm pie recipes in glossy magazines) or dried crickets given away at schools (covered in chocolate). Fair to say that these didn't get much traction. The EU pretty much admitted defeat a few years ago so what they did instead was hiding insects. EU food legislation was changed so now worms and maggots are industrially bred to feed chickens or to make flour. The 'yummy insect' lobby hasn't given up yet as this BBC article shows. I think they are fighting a losing battle and that the BBC might be a bit behind the curve. Fake meat has stalled as an alternative for animal protein as its sales and its general adoption are down from a few years ago. However lab grown meat recently made a big breakthrough.A Dutch lab grown meat company can now grow a burger for the same price as grass fed meat [their first burger cost a whopping $350,000 to produce] and they expect their costs to fall significantly in years to come. In due time cheap lab grown meat may provide all the protein that we need - wich would be the end of the meat industry and the decades long attempts to make the bottom 90% of us chew on insects. https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20251230-why-so-many-people-find-eating-insects-disgusting

Money is debt and debt is guilt. In essence we are exchanging guilt. It is the abuse of that guilt which can make this very medium evil.

#Privacy #verelendung #EU #privacy #hypocrisy The Collective West is locked into a privacy/free speech race to the bottom. It is remarkable how the western states that allege to stand up for free speech will sacrifice privacy while those giving lip service to the right to privacy will quietly quench free speech.Bureaucracies have held the same questionable standards throughout history - they will not tolerate free speech nor privacy. Legalities obscure the hypocrisy of the ruling elite whenever those two issues rear their ugly head. This article is about how the EU - which is publicly sooooo concerned about the privacy of its citizens - has sold out by giving all their citizens' data to the US. https://karat.substack.com/p/europes-silent-surrender?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=1448719&post_id=182988370&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=u43g&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email

#piracy #US #China #seablockade #UNCLOS Piracy is back. Ironically it is the world's dominant naval power the US (who was supposed to safeguard the world's shipping lanes) who is now laying down the new rules for legally sanctioned piracy.Under the Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) today's merchant vessels may carry arms for self-defense under international law, provided the measures are proportionate to the threat and used in accordance with legal requirements.Nations interpret this differently. I recall a sailor who told me that their best defense against pirates was to simply hoist a Russian flag. Russian merchant vessels were well known for shooting first and asking questions later. China is now being accused by western analysts of weaponizing their container vessels for offensive purposes. Which I think is a reversal of what is actually happening. Container vessels make for lousy offensive weapons. They are simply too big, too slow and too lightly armored. But provide them with some launch tubes and a few containers filled with autonomous drones and they will be able to defend themselves. It is no secret that the US Navy is restructuring itself to blockade China's sea lanes in a future conflict. The relevant policy papers are freely available online for all to read (yet few do). I suspect that the current naval blockade of Venezuela is in part to test run this strategy. So while the US is legalizing piracy again, China is preparing to fight back. I mentioned before that the era of the navy is over. War ships have become too vulnerable and too tempting as a high value target in modern warfare. And that is something that the US Navy or American planners are unwilling to come to terms with -for now. https://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2025/12/american-pirates-and-the-coming-militarization-of-commercial-shipping.html
