Just being able to drive to work in the morning is a privilege to me. This morning we had the coldest morning of the season so far, 47F/8C.Once I got off the highways and onto surface streets, I opened the sun roof with the seat heater on. That feels awesome.

@funnylookinhat Yeah, learn COBOL. Nobody else wants to and I imagine microsoft won't bother either. There will be no shortage of work.My favorite part of my career, looking back, was doing Z80 assembler. Unfortunately, not much of a market for that skillset.

@kyle @jrwren Actually, you can get a 220VAC model here in the US. It will heat faster and more efficiently. You have to have a 2 phase circuit run to power it. (I have the know-how to run the circuit but understand that most don't.) I'm thinking about getting a system like yours or a Clawhammer. For now, I'm content to go the old fashioned 3 vessel mode.

@internetarchive Lionel Hampton was a great man. I will always have fond memories of him when he played our theater. Not many musicians of his stature or renown would take a few minutes to give an 8 or 9 year old kid an impromptu marimba lesson.

#3Dprinting carboy dryers on my Ender3 and Anycubic Predator. The blue one on the Ender3 I found on Thingiverse. It's about to run out of blue PETG and switch to red. The clear one on the Predator is printing in Tglase and it's my own design. Trying to use up that Tglase. Fucking around and finding out on a quiet Saturday night.

Successfully transitioned the blue print on the Ender3 to red. I always worry when changing filament because sometimes this printer loses registration on a suspend/resume print.

Ended up losing both prints overnight. The Ender3 did lose registration, only slightly, but enough to ruin the print. The print on the Predator broke loose from the print bed. Such is life with 3Dprinting.
