@timr It was another world. But for those of us who graduated high school in 1975, we were impacted greatly.Kind of like how you can imagine that 1965 high school graduates kind of fell into the middle of a huge cultural transition.My generation would give up on the peace, love stuff and embrace the "Me First" 80's with a vengeance.

Check out when the Black Panthers stormed the California capitol in comparison.https://capitolweekly.net/black-panthers-armed-capitol/The takeaway for the 60's I have is similar to now; a bunch of white liberals drove a narrative.At least the narrative for a while was about change for the good.

@Mongo3804 Wow!I learned from Ed Wallace on Inside Automotive (KLIF on Saturday mornings) that new truck orders are a better indicator of economy strength than most other indicators used.And these numbers are for the trucks you build (Peterbilt I presume). Wonder what your competitors are dealing with?

@redwhitebluedude I lived 1 mile south of Disneyland in 1965. My elementary school was across the street from the park and the official park photographer lived on our street.His wife took a bunch of us kids from the street for our own preview of the Tiki Room before it opened to the public. Special times and memories.
