I'm thinking about trying out #funkwhale. I don't yet fully stand how it works, nor do the instances that are listed on funkwhale.audio seem to be the right fit.Does anyone here know more about funkwhale and can answer some questions? I'm #nonbinary. I often look and perform closely to what people think femininity should look like, and I often felt bad about it. I felt compelled to "counterperform" often.Now I slowly come to realize that it's okay to perform a certain way and that it doesn't necessarily mean that I have to affirm to that gender per se.I've always been nb, never felt that "girl" or "woman" really fit.I'm out to 4 people atm. I've been posting a lot about Mastodon in the last days. Fact is, we're creating it together. Old users AND new. My goal is to make the new users aware that we old users are often here because we HAD to switch away from the overload and hate of corporate social media, seeking the relative quietness and seclusion of the Fediverse.
