@Teri_Kanefield civil pursuit for penalties are just a disguise for wealthy elite to buy their way out of the criminal penalties they richly deserve. He should have been in jail so fast, for so long that any future corrupt creature of the same sort would think twice. The debate over civil consequences makes me so sick when it ignores the threat these individuals pose to whole societies. @UROCKlive1 when is there a discussion about how civil pursuit of penalties are really a disguise for a way for wealthy elites to buy their way out of criminal penalties they richly deserve. Murdoch is a menace, a corrupt cancer for any society. Instead of the lively debate over the price tag to buy his way out of consequences, he should be removed from society he corrupts. Just incredible how many participate in this sham called a legal system. He threatens the integrity of whole societies

@stux why crypto was one of the greatest scams? Governments (politicians on the in, benefitting through family members) got to take an unaccountable stance, plead playing catch up to something that NEVER should have been let loose on the public. You better believe they secretly profited while knowing when the end would come. The derivative scandal should have warned us all they'd be complicit with negligence to prey on public once again. Be sure they have a new scam in the works .

@Radical_EgoCom actually, fair and decent landlords play an important role in todays landscape. Many people don't keep the same job for a lifetime, many are transient. To purchase a home and sell every 5 years (average turnover) would incur incredible losses. Then there is the scenario where they should be viewed as home management, too many people dont want the aggravation of upkeep and repairs. The real problems lies like with anything else, when it is taken over by greed mongers

@aljazeera who benefits from conflict, Netanyahu and the far right, Hamas. No way Israel was so blind sided, it is more than likely Netenyahu blindfolded Israel. Amazing he gets to posture retribution when he is part of the causation. Decent Israeli's and Palestinians suffer at the hands of corrupt and brutal entities on both sides. Hamas and Netenyahu need to be pushed aside, this is what they both deliver to the people.
