I have paid for Apple Care and last night they offered me an Express Replacement. I said I no because I needed to make sure I had the funds available ($1300) for the No Return Hold. I said I would try a full reset and restore. Now apparently the ERS option is unavailable to me, unless I talk on the phone to a supervisor. They have already offended me by asking if someone can call for me (no) and if I use ASL (also no.)

UPDATE:Because I am stubborn, I kept pushing for what I needed and being very clear on my expectations. I was eventually connected with another Customer Support rep who was absolutely delightful. Respectful, knowledgable and did exactly as requested. Also understood my disability needs.I am extremely pleased that I can say that this was resolved, however, I should not have had to go through 2 other support reps to get to this.

@Essjax @Clianthus came here to say similar. I don’t have epipens, but I do have insulin pens and I’ve always been advised carry-on 1) in case of luggage loss and 2) due to temperature/pressure changes that might affect the medication.

Trying to figure out if I have the spoons to put together a monthly COVID-safe #Pōneke #writers group again. I miss Well-Written and the people I met. I mostly miss having a crit group and a designated writing day. I could hire the Upper Chamber at Toi Pōneke again for around $35 an hour. It’s big, with high ceilings and has plenty windows to open.
